06/19/18: FCIA Accreditation Chair, Aedan Gleeson, and Executive Director, Bill McHugh, met with FM Approvals' Jeff Gould to discuss the impact of FM 4991, Standard for the Approval of Firestop Contractors. It's almost 20 years now!
06/18/18: Last week's NFPA Expo was a big success for FCIA Members. Our booth had excellent traffic and publication bins provided many a free copy of Life Safety Digest. Meetings with FM Approvals and UL, visits from several influential organizations, renewing and building relationships were all part of this year's show. Thanks to all who stopped to visit.
06/15/18: Bill Koffel of Koffel Associates, FCIA's Code Consultant, won the NFPA Standards Award at the NFPA Conference this week. Only two awards were recognized at the Expo general session. Congrats to Bill. This award reflects his professionalism and commitment to fire- and life-safety.
