The FCIA Fire & Smoke Barrier (FSB) Firestop & Effective Compartmentation 'DIIM' Symposium Doha provides education and practical knowledge related to the Firestop and Effective Compartmentation industry.
Firestop and Effective Compartmentation systems that are properly installed to the tested and listed system specs are universal critical elements of fire- and life-safety.
Total protection begins with good Design, continues with proper Installation, is verified with thorough Inspection and then is completed with regular Maintenance and Management of installed systems. Having and implementing a thorough knowledge of the ‘DIIM’ of Firestopping and Effective Compartmentation, as well as of Fire Walls, Fire- and Smoke-Rated Barriers and Smoke Partitions, provide greater reliability of installed Firestop Systems for improved Fire- and Life-Safety in buildings.
