For all three programs, the first step towards becoming an Accredited firm is taking – and PASSING – the Firestop Exams.
Both exams are based on the FCIA Firestop Manual of Practice and are offered at ALL FCIA Conferences and Symposiums throughout North America, Canada, and the Middle East. To help prepare for the exams, FCIA offers a variety of options:

Canadian companies taking the UL Firestop Exam are required to complete the UL Core Exam, plus an additional 25 questions for the Canadian supplement. This supplement is added to the core UL Firestop Exam and graded as a whole.
