The Committee decided to offer the Firestop Manual of Practice (MOP) in several different versions.

  • FCIA MOP Complete Edition - This document is the complete manual with project management and all sections.
  • FCIA MOP Firestop Containment Worker Edition - This document, developed by the Apprenticeship Committee, is a special manual for the firestop containment worker and inspectors who don't manage projects.
  • FCIA MOP AHJ Edition - This document is info that the Authorities Having Jurisdiction may want to know to be educated in the firestop industry.  This is offerred FREE to Governmental AHJ's.
  • FCIA MOP Architect-Specifier-Building Owner Edition - This is specially written for Architects and Specifers, and is similar to the AHJ edition. This is offerred FREE to Specifiers and Architects with Design Firms.

The FCIA TEA MOP Task Group has been busy these past few years. Thanks to the volunteers who have helped make these documents the best they can be.
